After an uneventful evening photographing wildlife, I found myself walking back to my car along a two-track road when I stopped to photograph an old axle I had passed many times before. With a lone tree standing tall on the hill in the background, I set up the shot using the axle as the foreground element, framing the tree and capturing this image.
