While walking along the Yellowstone River, I saw a group of birds near some puddles and moved closer to them. Looking up into a tree overhead, I spotted three Cedar Waxwings. I’ve always wanted to photograph a Cedar Waxwing after seeing one in my backyard but never being able to capture a good photo. I find them incredibly beautiful, with their pastel colors, black band across the face, and a completely unique look compared to many other birds.
