While walking along the Yellowstone River, I saw what I thought was a Bufflehead in the distance swimming in the water. As I got closer, I realized they were Mergansers, and I was able to get quite a few pictures of these beautiful ducks. While I was waiting for them to move closer, they took flight, and I was able to capture this photo.
