On an overcast day, I found myself hiking through a thick woodland area. I stopped to listen for birds nearby, and a Chickadee landed on a branch close to me. I quickly took a few photos before it flew off.
Chickadees have been one of my favorite birds ever since I used to sit in quiet creek bottoms while hunting and watch groups of them hopping through the nearby branches. I was so happy to finally capture one in a photo, as they are very fast and never sit still for long.
