While I was on a hike, I found myself on a ridge photographing two groups of turkeys. The larger group split up and went in two different directions. As I was photographing some turkeys at a closer range, I looked over to where the other group had gone and saw something very special. A mule deer was standing at the end of the ridge with a group of turkeys nearby, feeding together, and I was quite amazed at how beautiful the moment was. Watching two different species standing next to each other was very cool.
