On a hot and humid summer day in eastern Montana, the forecast predicted a large and potentially dangerous thunderstorm that evening. Throughout the day, my stress grew, as I’m not a big fan of dangerous storms for a few reasons. While outside moving my car just before the storm hit, I looked up and noticed dark cumulonimbus clouds overhead and grabbed my camera. There was still light peeking through breaks in the clouds, making for an ominous photo. Soon after, the wall cloud appeared, which I was not outside to photograph for obvious reasons.
