While out on a birding walk, I was fortunate enough to add a few new lifers to my list, including this beautiful American Redstart. He was perched on a low-hanging branch, filling the air with his loud, beautiful song as he moved from perch to perch. I spent some time watching him and was able to capture many photos of this striking black-and-orange bird. His vibrant colors stood out beautifully against the surrounding greenery, making him an unforgettable sight and one of the highlights of the day.
